There have been a total of 672 (+13) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH, with 157 (-5 net) active cases of COVID-19 implied. As of yesterday, HMC reported 15 hospitalized in Hilo with COVID-19; 3 in ICU, 11 in COVID Unit, and 1 in Extended Care Facility (via HMC FB). Hawaii Island Deaths Total via HCCD: 28 (0) The Hilo Veterans Home as of yesterday has 70 (0) residents and 34 (0) employees test positive for COVID-19 (HMC). 26 deaths on island are related to the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo.
