Drones On - June 22nd to 29th, 2018 Kilauea Eruption - The Ocean Blooms

Combined footage of the 2018 Kilauea Eruption, June 22th through June 29th. The ocean sees a large algae bloom fed by the ocean entry, we take an up close look at the Lava-rafts moving down the lava channel, and lava reappears inside the Kapoho Beach Lots and farm lots. This series tells one version of the 2018 Kilauea eruption on the Lower East Rift Zone, where lava erupted in a residential neighborhood. The story is told through available footage from many sources, including USGS, Hawaii Count Civil Defense, DoD, National Guard, DLNR, and private citizens. This series will go through each day of the eruption and tell the story from the lens of a Leilani Estates resident.
