Pouli Ka Mahina

Hope you all got to see it last night! pouli ka mahina (Lunar eclipse) Makali'I (Pleiades) 11:08pm Nov. 18, 2021 As soon as I got home from work I rushed to the backyard to setup, “thank god for good weather!” I was zoomed in to 600mm on the moon hoping to get a good closeup shot. After taking a few test shots and waiting a bit, I started seeing more stars and saw the moon was close to the Pleiades. I ditched my original closeup shot and went for a 180mm zoom that gave me enough space to capture both the moon and Pleiades.
