There have been a total of 948 (+24) confirmed cases on Hawaiʻi Island according to DoH, with 205 (+8 net) active cases of COVID-19 implied. Most of today's cases are on the Kona side. As of yesterday, 7 are hospitalized at the Hilo Medical Center, 1 in the ICU, 6 in the COVID Unit. As of Friday, Kona Community Hospital had 2 additional patients are on ventilators in the ICU. Hawaii Island Deaths Total via HCCD: 37 (0) -- Breakdown: "6 community at the Hilo Medical Center, 1 community at the Kona Community Hospital, 3 from Life Care Center, per their website, 27 from the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home" (HMC). ... 7-day average on test positivity on island is now at 2.7%, the state's positivity rate is now at 2.8% (HDOH).
